CongaTones & Wild Water Rides at Wildwater Kingdom, Geauga Lake, Ohio

Music and dance will take center stage when The CongaTones and Sandy's B-line Dancers will perform at Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom on Saturday, July 10.  Center stage, that is, only if you've had enough of this wild waterpark's  great aquattractions.

This enormous waterpark is run by the thrill experts from Cedar Point, the nearby amusement park that is located about 70 miles west of Geauga Lakes in Sandusky, Ohio.  Read more about Cedar Point here, but trust us, these guys know how to make fun.

At Wildwater Kingdom, thrill-seekers can challenge the 60-foot-tall Liquid Lightning tornado slide, frolic in the surf of the 390,000-gallon Tidal Wave Bay wave pool or slide down one of seven slides at Thunder Falls, Ohio's tallest waterslide complex.

Younger children will like playing in Little Tikes Town or splashing and soaking everyone in Splash Landing's four-stories of watery fun.  When it is time to take a break from all the action, everyone can relax on the 1,000-foot-long Riptide Run inner tube river.

Young families will especially enjoy the new Beach Family Fun Area. This attraction features a giant chessboard with movable playing pieces such as knights, rooks and pawns. The area also has an arcade, special games designed just for kids and a sandy beach area overlooking Geauga Lake.

If you're able to visit on the 10th July, bring some extra towels so you can dance to the B-Line Dancers from from 11:30am to 1:30pm with The CongaTones following from 2-4pm on the Tidal Wave Bay wavepool deck. Specializing in classic and contemporary songs, The CongaTones will provide music for guests to sing and dance to while enjoying the sun and attractions at the Aurora, Ohio, outdoor waterpark. Group members Vince Menti and John Curtis Ivan have been performing together in Northeast Ohio for more than 25 years, with a majority of that time as members of a three-piece party band called the Monotones. The group has performed at a variety of venues including corporate events, car shows, and festivals such as Rockin' on the River. Song requests are not only welcome, but encouraged and the show features a lot of onstage audience participation.

Sandy's B-line Dancers (this should be fun!) are the top students from Sandy Goodman's four dance studios in Northeast Ohio. Sandy's B-Line dancers will perform several exciting line dance routines. During the show, the group will even teach guests some simpler dances so that they, too, can join in the line-dancing fun!
