Callaway Gardens Offers Summer Family Adventure Package

This year, more than half of household decision makers prefer to plan a nature-oriented vacation that brings their family together. Catering to these families, Callaway Gardens, located in the southernmost foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its Summer Family Adventure program. The 13,000 acre destination offers a seven-day customized vacation starting at $58/day per person* June 5 through Aug. 13, 2010.

During the day, children (3-12) and teens partake in a myriad of activities, from balancing on the tightrope and hitting the links for golf lessons to riding the 10-mile Discovery Bike Trail and exploring indigenous flowers and plants. Parents spend the day being pampered in a full-service spa, fishing on Mountain Creek Lake or relaxing in peace and serenity. Evenings bring families together to enjoy each other’s company or participate in organized activities.

-Neighborhood style accommodations in a private two-bedroom Cottage or two-four bedroom Villa with living and dining areas, kitchen, fireplace and screened porch

-Summer Family Adventure supervised programs during day camp and evening activities
