VR Ride Takes Park Guests for Big Thrills
According to their press announcement, park-goers wearing wireless Samsung Gear VR powered by Oculus will be "transported into a futuristic battle to save planet Earth from an alien invasion" on the New Revolution VR Coaster.Each guest will be immersed in the experience of being a co-pilot of their own virtual fighter jets on one of the park’s most popular roller coasters, which means flying straight up a skyscraper wall, then down a 95 degree pitch, then doing wild maneuvers in between office buildings.

New Theme Park Area for Young Kids
For younger thrill-seekers and their families, Six Flags Over Georgia is set to debut seven attractions in the all-new Bugs Bunny Boomtown. Expect to see Daffy Duck Bucket Blasters, a wild and crazy family water battle; Speedy Gonzales Speed Boats, where guests will be screaming “Andale Andale” on six speed boats; Bugs Bunny High Seas Adventure, a chance to fly through the air on a junior sea-worthy quest and much more.Daffy Duck Bucket Blasters allows families to splash others in buckets! |
Six Flags Over Georgia also announced the world’s first DC SUPER Friends family-themed section will open later this spring, featuring five new attractions.
This season, Six Flags Over Georgia will be open on weekends through May 15 and daily April 2 through 10 for Spring Break. During summer, daily operation begins on May 21.
