Expect the conversation to veer from new ideas for multigenerational trips to saving money with online research, to keeping the peace with in-laws and relatives without kids.

Expert Seminars on All Travel Topics
Many expert seminars are being held March 1st and March 2nd, covering a wide range of topics. Our partner in Family Travel Consulting, Eileen Ogintz of TakingtheKids.com, will be an expert speaker on traveling with children, on Sunday, March 2nd at 3pm. Other experts of note talking about family travel topics include Ed Wetschler on the Caribbean and Dan Austin of Austin Adventures discussing adventure trips.
Guidebook impressarios and travel pro's Pauline and Arthur Frommer talk about what's new in trip planning, as well as their favorite travel destinations.
New York Times journalists Stephanie Rosenbloom (the Getaway columnist) and Seth Kugel (we love hisFrugal Traveler column), discuss the best ways for both bargain-hunters and luxury travelers to take advantage of collaborative consumption, the rapidly growing sector of the tourism industry where travelers can share assets such as extra bedrooms in their homes, or free capacity in their cars. Since family travel is collaborative by nature, we think this will be an interesting talk led by moderator Monica Drake, the New York Times Travel editor.
But do join us for Multigenerational Travel on Saturday March 1st at 11am in Seminar Room 2. We want you to ask questions and share your travel tips. We've heard some Family Travel Forum writers plan to be there, so it should be fun. Kyle McCarthy will also be available to answer your personal questions from noon to 12:45pm in the Meet the Experts Booth #939 in the main exhibition hall.
