The “Tomb Bash” reception kicks off the weekend Friday evening at the Grande Event Lawn including tasty bites, witches brew and “to die for” entertainment. As the sun rises on Saturday, so do the mummies to join in the “Broom Zoom” Family Run, exploring 13.1 miles of the property. Families celebrate fitness with a light 5k run while experienced runners test endurance in the lengthy half-marathon across the beautifully-manicured resort landscape, sponsored by XXTRA Mile, LLC (early registration available at www.xxtramile.com).

After a full day of family fun, trick-or-treaters and little monsters meet at the 6.5 acre Water Park and Concert Lawn for the “Monster Mash.” Kids of all ages take advantage of carnival games, trick-or-treats, costume contests, Halloween air balloon night glow and Hot Air Balloon Tether. As the sun sets, families snuggle together for a scream-worthy movie on the lawn.

Guests watch in amazement as 20 hot air balloons ascend into the air for the Halloween Hot Run Sunday morning. The first of it’s kind in the state, the balloons compete in a race – featuring a target element and a cyclist – to be the first across the finish line. “Scary-oake” at rooftop lounge Eleven allows haunters to howl at the moon and revel in the fantastic food and drink specials, including the signature Blueberry Mojito and an eclectic fusion of new world and Asian cuisines.
