Fall is Blazing Hot at Tarrytown House Estate

This fall, Tarrytown House Estate may just be the hottest place to stay! The 26-acre Estate hotel, managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts, is offering its fabulous “Blaze” Package from Friday, October 1 through Sunday, November 7.

Guests can take advantage of deluxe overnight accommodations, two tickets to the Great Jack O' Lantern Blaze at Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson, and a full American breakfast for two starting at only $199 per night!*  Bring the kids for an extra $25 per person.
On October 10 and 31, kids and kids at heart can participate in a “cupcake decorating clinic” staffed by Tarrytown House Pastry Chef Stephanie Doerner, who appeared on multiple episodes of WE-TV’s “Amazing Cakes”. Chef Doerner will show guests simple cupcake decorating techniques and all guests will go home with their cupcakes to share with their families.

For the sixth year, Historic Hudson Valley presents The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze, the area’s biggest, most exciting Halloween event that features more than 4,000 individually hand-carved, illuminated jack o’ lanterns.

Visitors can meander through an 18th-century riverside landscape and discover a breathtaking display: snakes, a giant spider web, an undersea aquarium, super-sized dinosaurs, pirates, ghosts, and more ---all made of jack o’ lanterns! This year, the Blaze will also feature “PumpkinHenge”.
The “Blaze” will take place every weekend in October and the first weekend in November.  Tickets are limited so make your reservations today. For something even spookier, book a room in the Tarrytown Estate’s exclusive King Mansion, a 169-year old Georgian estate that some believe is haunted!  (Additional fees apply).

For more information or reservations, please contact the Tarrytown House at 1-800-553-8118.  Also, read the Family Travel Forum story on Tarrytown for further details.  Looking for more Halloween fun in other areas of the upstate New York, FTF has you covered as well with this great feature.
